What is this site?
This site is basically a collection of links to fanfiction that contains whumping, otherwise known as hurt/comfort fics. For any who don't know, this covers fics in which a character of characters are ill or injured in some way. Many also include emotional pain/angst in this category.
I tend to only like physical whump, and I normally only whump one character in a fandom, who is almost always male. Therefore, at first, the majority of fics listed here will be with those specifics. However, I am really hoping that others will help me with the listing; if you know of a fic that contains whumping, send me the link! It doesn't have to be particularly good, or long (though of course, being good is always a bonus!).
How do I suggest a fic?
To be listed here, a fic has to contain whumping. That's pretty much it, though anything too disturbing probably won't make it. Fics can be complete or WIP's. To suggest a fic that you think fits the (very wide!) criteria, or to suggest a site that archives either whumping spefcific or general fanfiction, click on 'Forums' in the navigation bar above and follow the instruction in the relevant topic. Ratings for each fic can be found in blue to the right of the author's name. These are the ratings given by the aithor, not by me. The rating system normally used is the same one used by fanfiction.net, and can be found here.
